Di post kali ini, aku bakal share tentang suatu cerita dari Jepang, yang ditulis dalam huruf hiragana. Ini aku dapetin dari sebuah situs, tapi lupa situsnya apaan. Udah lama juga sih.. Ini bagus banget buat kalian, yang lagi atau baru belajar bahasa Jepang dan di suruh ngapalin huruf hiragananya. Inget, baca huruf hiragananya yaa.. hehehe
ももたろう Momotarou
the Peach Boy
むかし、 むかし、 ある ところ に
おじいさん と おばあさん
おじいさん と おばあさん
Long, long ago, in some place there was an old man and and old woman.
おじいさん が 山（やま） へ 木（き） を きり に いけば、
When the old man went to the mountain to cut trees,
おばあさん は 川（かわ） へ せんたく に でかけます。
the old woman went out to the river to wash clothes.
「おじいさん、 はよう もどって きなされ。」
"Old man, come back quickly."
「おばあさん も き を つけて な。」
"Old woman you also be careful please."
まい日（にち） やさしく いい あって でかけます。
Each day they gently say to each other and go out.

ある日（ひ）、 おばあさん が 川 で せんたく を して いたら、
It happened one day, while the old woman was washing clothes at the river,
つんぶらこ つんぶらこ もも が ながれて きました。
tsunburako tsunburako a peach floated up.
ひろって たべたら、
She picked it up and ate it and,
なんとも おいしくて ほっぺた が おちそう。
it was so delicious as if to make her cheeks fall.
おじいさん にも たべさせて あげたい と おもって、
She though she also wanted to make her husband eat one, and
「うまい もも こっちゃ こい。
"Sweet peach come here.
にがい もも あっちゃ いけ。」
Bitter peach go away."
と いったら、
she said, and
どんぶらこ どんぶらこ でっかい もも が ながれて きました。
donburako donburako a huge peach floated up.
おばあさん は よろこんで、 もも を いえ に もって かえりました。
The old woman was happy, and took the peach home.

ゆうがた おじいさん が 山 から もどって きました。
In the evening the old man returned from the mountain.
「おじいさん、 おじいさん、 うまい もも を ひろった で めしあがれ。」
"Husband, husband, please eat the sweet peach I picked up."
おばあさん が きろう と したら、
When the old woman tried to cut,
もも が じゃくっ と われ、
the peach split jyaku,
ほぎゃあ ほぎゃあ 男（おとこ） の あかんぼう が とびだしました。
hogyaa hogyaa a baby boy jumped out.
--
「こりゃあ たまげた。」
"This is startling."
「なんちゅう げんき な あかんぼう だ。」
"What a lively baby!"
ふたり は あわてて おゆ を わかす やら きもの を さがす やら。
Together they hurriedly boiled water and looked for a kimono and so on.
--
ふたり は この 子（こ） に ももたろう と いう 名（な）まえ を つけ、
Together they gave the name Momotarou to this child, and
それは それは だいじ に そだてました。
brought him up with so much care.
ももたろう は まんま を 一（いっ）ぱい たべたら 一ぱい だけ、
If Momotarou ate one cup of rice he grew one cup,
二（に）はい たべたら 二はい だけ
if he ate two cups he grew two cups and
ずんずん 大（おお）きく なって、
quickly became large, and
たいへんな 力（ちから）もち に なりました。
came to be very powerful.
なに を おしえて も すぐ おぼえ、
Whatever they teach him he learns quickly, and
いえ の しごと から 山 の しごと まで てつだって くれました。
from house work to mountain work he helped them.
「こんな 子ども は めったに いる もん じゃない。」
"It is rare that there is a child like this."
おじいさん も おばあさん も いよいよ ももたろう を かわいがりました。
The old man and the old woman loved Momotarou more and more.

ところが、 その ころ、
But, at that time,
おに ども が ちょくちょく 村（むら） へ やってきて は
devils often approached the village and
わるい こと を して いました。
were doing bad things.
「よし、 おら が たいじ してやる。」
"Ok, I'll get rid of (the devils)."
ある日、 ももたろう は おじいさん と おばあさん の
まえに りょう手（て） を ついて いいました。
That day, Momotarou sat with both hands on the floor in front
of the old man and old woman and said,
「おにがしま へ おにたいじ に いく から、
"I am going to Devil's Island to get rid of the devil, so
日（にっ）本（ぽん）一（いち） の きびだんご を つくって くれ。」
please make Japan's best millet dumplings for me."
「なに いう だ。
"What did you say?
いくら 力 が つよく ても おまえ の かてる あいて じゃない。」
However strong your power, you can not defeat the enemy."
ふたり は びっくり して とめました が、
They were surprised and stopped him, but
ももたろう は しょうち しません。
Momotarou did not accept.
--
「そんなら しかたが ない。」
"If so, it is no use (stopping you)".
おばあさん は たべれば 百（ひゃく）人（にん）力（りき） の でる
日本一 の きびだんご を つくって くれました。
The old woman made Japan's best millet dumplings for him,
which if he eats, will give him the power of 100 persons.
おじいさん は あたらしい きもの を だし、
The old man got out a new kimono, and
はた まで つくって くれました。
also made a flag for him.
きりりと はちまき を しめ、
Like a strong man he tied his headband,
かたな を こし に さしたら、
when he put the sword at his waist,
つよ そうな わかもの に なりました。
he became like a strong young man.

「まけたら、 しょうちせん ぞ。」
"If you are defeated, we will not forgive you."
「しっかり やって くるん だよ。」
"Try hard and come back."
おじいさん と おばあさん は なみだ を こらえて いいました。
The old man and old woman held back tears and said
「では、 いってまいります。」
"Then, I will go."
ももたろう は むね を はり、 ぐいと くちびる を かみました。
Momotarou stretched his breast with confidence, and bit his lip (with a jerk).
--
村はずれ まで くる と いぬ が きました。
When he came to the outskirts of town a dog came.
「ももたろう さん、 ももたろう さん、 どこ へ いきなさる。」
"Mr. Momotarou, Mr. Momotarou, where are you going?"
「おにがしま へ おにたいじ に。」
"To devil's island to get rid of the devil."
「こし に つけた もの は なんでござる。」
"What is that thing at your waist?"
「日本一 の きびだんご。」
"Japan's best millet dumplings."
「そんなら ひとつ くだされ、 おとも します。」
"So please give me one, and I will be your attendant."
「よし、 やろう。 ついて こい。」
"Ok, I will give you. Come along with me."

山 の ほう へ いく と さる が きました。
They went to the mountain and a monkey came.
「ももたろう さん、 ももたろう さん、 どこ へ いきなさる。」
"Mr. Momotarou, Mr. Momotarou, where are you going."
「おにがしま へ おにたいじ に。」
"To devil's island to get rid of the devil."
「こし に つけた もの は なんでござる。」
"What is that thing you have at your waist?"
「日本一 の きびだんご。」
"Japan's best millet dumplings."
「そんなら ひとつ くだされ、 おとも します。」
"So please give me one, and I will be your attendant."
「よし、 やろう。 ついて こい。」
Ok, I will give you. Come along with me."

山 の おく へ いく と きじ が とんで きました。
They went deep inside the mountain and a pheasant came flying.
「ももたろう さん、 ももたろう さん、 どこ へ いきなさる。」
"Mr. Momotarou, Mr. Momotarou, where are you going."
「おにがしま へ おにたいじ に。」
"To devil's island to get rid of the devil."
「こし に つけた もの は なんでござる。」
"What is that thing you have at your waist?"
「日本一 の きびだんご。」
"Japan's best millet dumplings."
「そんなら ひとつ くだされ、 おとも します。」
"So please give me one, and I will be your attendant."
「よし、 やろう。 ついて こい。」
Ok, I will give you. Come along with me."

ももたろう は いぬ と さる と きじ を ひきつれ、
Momotarou took the dog and monkey and pheasant along with him,
いよいよ おにがしま へ しゅっぱつ しました。
finally they departed for Devil's island.
山 を こえ、 たに を こえ、
They went over the mountains, and over the valleys,
うみ に でる と、
and came out to the sea, and
おに の ふね が ありました。
there was a devil's boat.
ももたろう たち は ふね に のりこみました。
They boarded the boat.
ふね は なみ を けたてて ぐいぐい すすんで いきます。
The boat went ahead strongly kicking up waves.
「おにがしま が みえた ぞ。」
"I see Devil's Island."
きじ が さけびました。
The pheasant cried out.
--
おにがしま には 大きな 門（もん） が たって いました。
On Devil's Island there was a big gate standing.
「たのもう。」
"Please."
ももたろう が 門 を たたきました。
Momotarou knocked at the gate.
でも、 へんじ が ありません。
But, there was no reply.
そこで さる は 門 に よじのぼり、
Then the monkey climbed up the gate, and
なか から かぎ を はずしました。
from within he unlocked the key.
--
「おら は 日本一 の ももたろう。
"I am Japan's number one Momotarou.
おに ども かくご せい。」
Devils make yourselves ready."
ももたろう は かたな を ぬいて とびこみました。
Momotarou pulled out his sword and jumped in.
「なに を こしゃくな こぞう め が。」
"What a shameless boy!"
おに ども は かなぼう を ふりあげ、
The devils raised their iron rods, and
ももたろう に おそい かかって きました。
attacked Momotarou.
きじ は くちばし で つっつき、
The pheasant pecked with his beak,
さる は つめ で ひっかき、
the monkey scratched with his nails,
いぬ は かみつきました。
The dog bit.
ももたろう は、 きってきって きりまくりました。
Momotarou continued cutting.
きびだんご を たべて いる ので 百人力 です。
Because he ate millet dumplings he had the power of one hundred people.
--
とうとう おに ども は 一ぴき のこらず やっつけられました。
Finally not one devil remained unbeaten.
「まいった。 いのち ばかり は おたすけ を。」
"I am beaten. Please spare only my life."
おに の おやぶん は りょう手 を ついて あやまりました。
The boss devil put both hands on the ground and apologized.
「もう 二ど と わるい こと は しない。
"I will not do bad things again.
たからもの を ぜんぶ わたす から かんべん してくれ。」
I will hand over all the treasure so please pardon us.
「よし、 それなら たすけて やろう。」
"Ok, if so I will spare you."
